Explore Wisconsin’s enduring natural landmarks, from the Apostle Islands to Devil’s Lake, Door County to the Ice Age Trail. Each vignette captures the shapes, textures, and activities that make these places memorable, bringing Wisconsin's natural beauty and shared activities with you wherever you go.

All of these places are the sacred spaces, cultural landscapes, and ancestral and treaty lands of a range of Native American tribes, including Ojibwe, Ho-Chunk, Menominee, Oneida, Potawatomi, Stockbridge-Munsee, Brothertown, Fox, Kickapoo, and Sauk. Many (like Devil's Lake and Wisconsin Dells) are sites where native communities were forcibly removed and displaced by the US Government. As we experience and enjoy the beauty of these places, may we also carry a shared responsibility to honor and support the peoples indigenous to these lands.
